Need Vaccines?
We Accept Medicaid

Vaccines Covered by Medicaid

For Children and Adults

For both children and adults, we accept Medicaid (Health First Colorado), Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) and most private insurances except for Kaiser Permanente, Veterans Administration (VA), Humana, and some CIGNA plans. View a list of health plans accepted at Denver Health.

Do I have to make an appointment?

Appointments are required; we do not accept walk-in patients at this time. Call us at 303-602-3520 with questions or to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule an appointment at your convenience through your MyChart account.

Which vaccines are available?

We take pride in being a full-service immunization clinic to fully protect our community. We have various vaccines required for school, work, travel, and immigration. The Immunization and Travel Clinic also responds to outbreaks or illness in our community by offering protection against vaccine preventable diseases. We also stock the influenza (flu) vaccine during flu season.

What do I have to pay for?

With Medicaid, Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+), and most commercial insurances, vaccines are covered with no co-pay.

What should I bring?

Please bring your identification card, insurance card (if applicable) and your, or your child’s, immunization records.

Can I get free travel vaccines?

Travel vaccinations are not discounted and never billed to insurance, including Medicaid. Please see the cost of travel vaccines for out-of-pocket pricing. You may request an itemized receipt during your visit if you would like documentation of your payment.
